Deckard M1 utility:

	---

Works on Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, 7, and 8 (likely also works on Vista and 10).

For best results, close the program down and start a
fresh copy, each time you go to receive a new set
of data from the M1.

RECEIVING ALL DATA FROM THE M1:

On the M1, press [Global], [7], and [Up] until it reads,
"ALL DATA".

Then -- on the Jack Deckard software interface, select
DUMP REQUEST -> KORG -> M1 -> ALL DATA

Click [Ok] for MIDI channel 1.

Press [G] on the M1 for data DUMP.

Save the file on the computer.

Note: The Deckard utility may automatically request all
data, as soon as you click on the [Ok] button for the
channel requester. Hence there's usually no need to press
the [G] / DUMP button on the Korg.

----------

TRANSMITTING DATA TO THE M1:

Select Transmit File -> Transmit Sysex File

Select a file to transmit to the M1, and click [Load].

As long as you're on the M1's Global screen, it'll load all
data into the synthesiser.

------------

If you get a "not a valid Sysex file" error when trying to send a file
to the Korg M1, you'll know that the file was not saved / received
properly. I.e. it's a corrupt data file. Always remember to verify
whether or not the file is okay, by trying to send it back to the
M1. If it's a bad file, the Deckard utility won't send it.
